To be a member in this tier, you need to:

  • Have attended at least one EFT Module (of three days or more) conducted by Caper Institute

  • Currently pursuing or already attained a general qualification as a Helping Professional (e.g. psychology, counselling, social worker, coaching, nursing).

Workshop Fee discounts on EFT and EFT-C Modules:

  • 10% off the Early Bird Rate for EFT Module 1, 2 and 3. And for EFT-C Module A, B & C

  • 60% off the Early Bird Rate for repeat attendance for previously attended EFT or EFT-C Modules. The billets are limited and subjected to change.

To be a member in this tier, you need to be a Helping Professional (e.g. psychology, counselling, social worker, coaching, nursing) or working towards qualification to be one.

Book Launches

Where book authors speak and discuss their most recent work.

Scientific Talks

This is on a particular topic (e.g. addiction) or a given population (e.g. neuro-divergent)

Movie Nights

Screening of EFT therapy video published by American Psychological Association or other professional learning organisation (e.g. Counselling Channel).

Book Studies

Facilitated group discussions that deepen understanding and application of key texts in EFT and related approaches.

Open Nights

These are skills practices that are structured along the line of Deliberate Practice. These practice sessions are to refine basic skills essential to EFT.

Social Events

These are in-person events for members to meet and socialise.

Who is eligible to be a member?

You need to be currently pursuing or already attained general qualification in a Helping discipline (e.g. psychology, counselling, social worker, coaching, nursing).

What are the membership tiers?

There are three membership tiers:Basic, Premier and Student

I attended an EFT workshop previously. Am I automatically a member?

You are eligible to be a member. However, you need to sign up here.

Why is the membership fee for Basic tiered waived?

This is to encourage learners and practitioners to be a part of this community

Why do I have to pay an annual membership fee for Premier?

This is for your profile to be listed in our members’ directory.

Why do I want my profile to be listed in the members’ directory?

This is one way to recognise your learnings in EFT. At the same time for you to have a digital presence, if you do not already have one.

What is the duration of membership?

Membership expires at the end of each calendar year.

Are programmes conducted online, in person, or both?

Programmes may be offered online, in person, or in hybrid formats, depending on the event.

Can members collaborate or contribute to Caper Society initiatives?

Members who wish to participate and contribute more deeply to the community are certainly invited to write in to discuss possible initiatives.

Membership Fees Refunds:

Membership fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Membership Renewal:

Memberships are renewed annually, in Dec of the preceding year. Renewal emails will be sent and payment to be made for continuation of membership.

Changes to Events or Benefits:

Caper Society reserves the right to amend events content, schedules, facilitators, or member benefits where necessary. Any material changes will be communicated to members in advance where possible.

Code of Conduct:

Caper Society prioritises psychological safety, respectful dialogue, and ethical practice in all learning spaces. Members are expected to engage respectfully and ethically, and observe guidelines on Psychological Safety within all Caper Society spaces. Caper Institute reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership in cases of serious misconduct or breach of community guidelines.

Termination of Membership:

Caper Institute reserves the right to terminate a membership without refund if terms and conditions are materially breached.
